To Our Church Family:
In March, our church took unprecedented steps to protect our members and friends as the Covid-19 virus was heightened and spread. I am pleased to report that your Session has approved a re-opening plan that will enable us to begin worship services together on Father’s Day, June 21st. The safety of our members and friends remains our highest priority. As such, the following measures are being taken in conjunction with our re-opening:

Dear Sunday School Parents: Our children are very anxious to restart their Sunday School Program. The roll out of our Covid-19 Plan for the church has gone quite well. Those attending services have adapted well to the configuration that we set up to keep appropriate social distances between each other. Attendees understand that facemasks be required if the 6-foot CDC recommendation is not able to be achieved. With some of the major components from the Church Reopening Plan considered, the following Sunday School Reopening Guidelines have been approved by Session Members and we are excited to announce that Sunday School will restart on September 13th with this plan: Facemasks: Facemasks will be required for all Sunday School students. Social Distancing: Due to the small space, The Sunday School room will not be utilized for Sunday School. The schematic below shows the configuration of student tables. Family units will be grouped together. The tables would be spread apart similar to the yellow shaded area below. Sunday School supplies (i.e. crayons, etc) will be pre-packaged and utilized only for individual students or family units. These will be kept and stored in zip lock bags after the lesson and available to the same student or family unit for the next week. Hand sanitizers will be available to all students. Sunday School will go from 9:00 – 9:50. At 9:50 teachers and helpers will completely clean the tables and chairs with disinfectant products. In accordance with CDC Guidelines, and as included in our Church opening plans, there will not be any singing. Please contact me at 315-761-2721 with any questions that you may have. I look forward to welcoming our children back. In Christ, Pastor Mike Pastor Mike Yeoman, CRE |
